Choose the AI stage you actually need

An AI SDR label can cover several different jobs: describing an audience in natural language, prioritizing profiles, drafting a message, responding to an incoming question or deciding when to involve a person. Evaluate those stages separately. A simple rule-based sequence can be the appropriate choice when the audience and next action are already defined. The word AI does not establish better replies, fewer supervision hours or more meetings.

Start with the work that consumes attention. Are you repeatedly translating a customer brief into searches? Reviewing too many plausible profiles? Handling similar inbound questions? Or managing a few conversations that need personal judgement? Each answer gives the buyer a different requirement and a different acceptance check. A tool that helps with one stage can still be useful without acting as an autonomous salesperson across every stage.

The published AI gate is Diamond Pro

Leadsforlinked's current monthly catalogue places AI lead scoring, AI Hunter and AI Responder on Diamond Pro at €79, alongside Starter's campaign/inbox/pipeline functions. Starter at €29 covers one-account campaigns, inbox, Kanban and analytics without requiring an AI workflow. Diamond Plus at €149 adds Signal Radar, Post Spy and three connected accounts. Basic at €4.99 covers extraction, CSV and audiences; it does not unlock the AI layer.

The optional free entry provides 100 signup profile leads, no card, in batches of 20. It can help evaluate actual source identities and receiver fields. It is not a free AI or full-suite trial. A reader with a ready AI requirement can review the Pro scope and existing pricing/signup route directly. An appropriate simple Starter workflow can also be a better fit than adding AI merely because the category comparison calls it an SDR.

AI Hunter and scoring: keep evidence beside the brief

AI Hunter is published as natural-language prospecting, with AI lead scoring in the Pro catalogue. Write a brief that distinguishes mandatory fit, useful preferences and exclusions. Specify what counts as evidence for the required company, role or territory. If the result is a plausible profile with missing context, preserve that gap. A title or model score does not establish purchasing authority, current employment, budget or a project.

Evaluate any prioritization against the defined brief and the evidence behind it. A score is not a calibrated likelihood of buying, and the scoring feature does not by itself establish an explanation field, coverage rate or acceptance threshold. Inspect the actual evidence available for the person and decide which additional research is needed. The worksheet below treats a score-stage decision as reviewable work, without fabricating a model response or a numerical output.

AI Responder: define the response boundary

AI Responder is published for contextual reply assistance, including phase tracking, sentiment detection and handoff alerts. The feature description also discusses review-before-send and an automatic mode. Those functions should be evaluated against the response job: which facts the assistant may use, what it may propose and when a named person must take over. A reply asking for information is not automatically a qualified opportunity.

Keep prices, commitments, service coverage and scheduling context explicit. An unsupported discount should not become a confident answer; an absent calendar should not become an invented appointment. If the recipient asks to stop, the next action is not another persuasion attempt. If an exception needs a commercial decision, route it to its owner. These are the teaching case's control rules; a worksheet does not prove the actual product enforces them.

Use current Kanbox pricing for its selected plan instead of deriving price from an AI feature headline. For an agent-assisted stack, identify which system stores the conversation and which owner sees an escalation. A connection to a function is not the same as an evaluated control policy. Do not discard a native route that already supplies the required stage, and do not infer that an integration supplies every field your receiver needs.

Worked case: eight decisions, no simulated model outputs

The fictional Alderline exercise records proposed actions and available evidence. A01's sourcing brief lacks required company context. A02 tries to infer authority from a title. A03 proposes an unsupported commercial claim. A05 lacks the context needed for scheduling. These four observations stay held. A04 contains an explicit stop request and is excluded from pitching under the case policy.

A06 needs a simple campaign/inbox workflow, so its accepted route is Starter rather than a compulsory AI purchase. A07 has supported context and a named reviewer; it accepts draft review, not autonomous send. A08 needs a human commercial exception and is handed to that owner. The result is three accepted workflow decisions, four holds and one exclusion, with every original retained. No row is a recorded AI output, confidence value, calibrated score or booked meeting.

Fictional teaching observations; all originals remain in the downloadable exercise.
ObservationEvidenceDecision
A01 · Sourcing scenarioMandatory company context is absent from the sourcing brief.CONTEXT_HOLD
Required source or response context is missing.

Make the review and handoff contract reusable

The blank brief records the required AI stage, actual input, permitted response scope, supporting evidence, missing context, reviewer and escalation rule. Add the published feature gate and the system that owns the resulting next action. If the missing information changes a decision, record what must be obtained before proceeding. Keep source facts and proposed inferences separate so a later reviewer can understand why an action was held.

The local planning selector applies published plan gates and lets you retain a sufficient existing workspace. It does not generate AI replies, connect a model or execute an action. Use the downloadable original exercise and complete decision ledger to compare your interpretation with the stated case rules. The editable blank is for your real requirements; its labels are an educational worksheet, not a promise of product export fields.

Map your requirement to the published plan

This local worksheet applies the displayed monthly gates. It does not connect an account or execute a workflow.

A stated requirement is your brief, not evidence that a product has fulfilled it. See the current catalogue for the existing plan route.

The case labels and partitions describe this fictional policy. They do not establish actual export headers, product events or executed handoffs.

Choose assistance where it completes a real job

Choose Pro when the additional sourcing/scoring/reply workload is defined and its controls fit the people responsible for it. Choose Starter when campaigns, inbox and human reply management are sufficient. Choose Plus for its actual monitoring or account-capacity requirement. If a source audience is still missing, the free profile entry can evaluate that upstream input. Keep that evaluation separate from the paid AI decision and from any claimed sales outcome.

Frequently asked questions

Which Leadsforlinked plan includes AI Hunter and Responder?

Diamond Pro at €79 monthly publishes AI lead scoring, AI Hunter and AI Responder alongside Starter workflow functions. Diamond Plus adds its monitoring and three-account scope.

Is AI always better than a rule-based sequence?

No comparative superiority is established here. Choose by the stage that needs assistance, available evidence, required controls and human ownership; a simple campaign may be sufficient.

Does a score establish authority or buying intent?

No. Review the underlying person/company evidence and missing context. A score does not establish budget, a project, purchasing authority or a calibrated likelihood of buying.

Can I evaluate paid AI with the free profile allowance?

The 100 signup profile leads, no card and batches of 20, evaluate audience/source data. They do not unlock or demonstrate paid AI features. A ready AI buyer can review the Pro route directly.
