Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Lead4Linked Chrome extension, web application, and related services (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Konekt, a company registered in France ("we", "us", "our").

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Account creation and eligibility

To use Lead4Linked, you must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a legally binding contract.

You agree to provide accurate, current, complete information at registration and keep it up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

3. Account uniqueness and anti-abuse

One free account per person. The free 100-lead tier and 7-day Outreach Pro trial are intended for individual evaluation. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent the free quota or trial limits is strictly prohibited.

3.1 Detection methods

We detect multi-account abuse using:

  • Browser fingerprinting (canvas, fonts, hardware identifiers)
  • IP address and Autonomous System Number patterns (5+ accounts per IP per 24 hours triggers automated review)
  • Email signal analysis (disposable email domain blocklists, plus-addressing patterns)
  • Stripe Radar fraud signals on payment attempts
  • Behavioral signals (signup velocity, identical session patterns)

3.2 Consequences

Accounts flagged as abuse are subject to:

  • Permanent ban of all related accounts
  • Forfeiture of any free credits, trial benefits, or unused balances
  • No refund on paid credits, subscription payments, or any other charges if the ban is the result of confirmed multi-account abuse

You may appeal a ban by emailing abuse@leadsforlinked.com. Appeals are reviewed within 14 days. Successful appeals restore the account; unsuccessful appeals do not generate a refund.

4. Acceptable use

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the Service to scrape data you have no legal right to collect
  • Use the Service for spam, harassment, or any communication that violates LinkedIn's Terms of Service or applicable law
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute extracted data to third parties without proper consent and lawful basis
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Chrome extension or backend
  • Use automated scripts, bots, or proxies to artificially inflate usage or circumvent rate limits
  • Impersonate another person or entity

You are solely responsible for complying with GDPR, CCPA, and any applicable data protection law in jurisdictions where you operate or where the data subjects reside.

5. Payments and billing

5.1 Subscription tiers

Lead4Linked offers Starter, Pro, Outreach, and Business plans with monthly or annual billing. Prices are listed on the pricing page and may change with 30 days notice.

5.2 Payment processor

All payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details.

5.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No prorated refunds are issued for partial periods.

5.4 Refunds

Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law. One-time credit packs are non-refundable once consumed; unused credit pack balances may be refunded within 14 days of purchase if no credits have been used.

6. Free tier and trial

New accounts receive 100 free LinkedIn leads plus 7 days of Outreach Pro features unlocked. After 7 days, the account auto-downgrades to a free Pro-lite tier (50 leads/month, basic features). The free tier is provided as-is, without warranty, and may be modified or discontinued at our discretion with reasonable notice.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including all software, designs, trademarks, and content (other than user-generated and LinkedIn-extracted data), is the property of Konekt and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

Data you extract from LinkedIn remains subject to LinkedIn's own terms; we do not claim ownership of extracted leads.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Konekt shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, or business interruption, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. LinkedIn and third-party services

Lead4Linked is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by LinkedIn Corporation. LinkedIn is a trademark of LinkedIn Corporation. Lead4Linked operates as an independent third party and works with the publicly accessible parts of LinkedIn.

Use of the Service does not exempt you from your obligation to comply with LinkedIn's User Agreement.

10. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, engage in abuse, or for any reason at our discretion with reasonable notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Section 8 (Liability), 11 (Governing law), and provisions that by their nature survive termination, will continue in effect.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of France. Any dispute shall be resolved by the competent courts of France, except where mandatory consumer law in your jurisdiction grants you the right to bring proceedings in your home court.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
