It reads whatever you paste and pulls out every LinkedIn personal profile URL it can find. It does not care about the surrounding text, so a spreadsheet column, a forwarded email thread, a saved web page or a messy export all work the same way. The result is a clean, deduplicated list you can copy or download as CSV.
Deduplicating LinkedIn URLs by exact string match does not work, because the same profile is written four different ways in the wild. This tool normalises all of them before comparing.
Tracking parameters. A URL copied from a LinkedIn search or an email often carries a query string, for example a trailing originalSubdomain or a miniProfileUrn. Everything after the question mark is stripped.
Locale subdomains. The same person is fr.linkedin.com for a French viewer, uk.linkedin.com for a British one and www.linkedin.com for everyone else. All three are the same profile, so the subdomain is normalised away.
Protocol and www. Some sources give the full https prefix, others start at linkedin.com. Both are treated as identical.
Trailing slashes. A trailing slash makes two otherwise identical strings unequal to a naive comparison. It is removed.
After these passes, the public identifier is the comparison key for a profile address. A matching address does not establish current identity, employment or a successful import.

LinkedIn uses different path prefixes for different object types. A personal profile lives under /in/. A company lives under /company/. A school lives under /school/ and a group under /groups/. Only the first is a person.
Mixing company pages into a list of people is a common and expensive mistake, because it silently corrupts your outreach: a connection request sent to a company page goes nowhere. This tool separates company pages into their own box so you can see what was filtered out rather than losing it quietly.
Cleaning an inherited list. You are handed a spreadsheet from a colleague or a previous agency, and the LinkedIn column is a mess of formats with duplicates scattered through it. Paste the column, get a clean list.
Pulling contacts out of a thread. Someone forwards an email chain with a dozen profile links buried in signatures and replies. Paste the whole thread.
Deduplicating across sources. You exported from two tools on different days and want to know how much overlap there is. Paste both, and the duplicate counter tells you immediately.
Auditing a conference or event page. Copy the attendee or speaker section of a page and extract the profiles listed on it.
Visibly shortened profile links ending in three dots or an ellipsis stay in the held box, outside the complete-profile count, copied list and CSV. Recover the full original from its source; removing the dots does not restore missing text. A complete address shape still does not verify a person or destination.
A cleaned URL identifies a profile address; it does not verify who currently uses it or provide structured name, role, company or location fields. This tool does not visit LinkedIn, validate that each profile still exists or enrich the links. If a clean URL column finishes your task, you can use the download as it is.
If you need profile details for a new audience, follow the separate first-20 search workflow above. Inspect the app audience and its actual CSV before using the data in a receiving system. A company value can be blank, a headline does not verify current employment, and more profile rows do not repair a missing field. Do not treat the cleaned URL download as an automatically enriched or ready-to-send audience.
A personal profile URL contains /in/ followed by the public identifier, for example linkedin.com/in/janedoe. Company pages use /company/ and are not personal profiles, so this tool separates them out.
Yes. Anything after a question mark is stripped, along with trailing slashes and locale prefixes such as fr.linkedin.com, so the same profile pasted in those different formats collapses to one row.
