1. Who we are

Lead4Linked is a Chrome extension and web application operated by Konekt, headquartered in France. We provide LinkedIn lead extraction and outreach tools to B2B sales, recruiting, and marketing teams.

2. What data we collect

2.1 Account data (you provide)

  • Email address
  • Password (hashed, never stored in plaintext)
  • Optional: name, job title, company
  • Billing information (processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details)

2.2 Usage data (automatically collected)

  • IP address and approximate geolocation (country level)
  • Browser type, language, and device fingerprint (for anti-abuse)
  • Pages visited, features used, exports performed
  • Anonymous analytics via PostHog (self-hostable, EU-based)

2.3 LinkedIn data you extract

When you use Lead4Linked to extract LinkedIn leads, we process only publicly visible LinkedIn data from profiles, posts, events, and groups. We do not access private messages, connections-only fields, or paid LinkedIn data. You are responsible for using extracted data lawfully under GDPR, CCPA, and any other applicable legislation.

3. How we use your data

  • To provide the service: account creation, lead extraction, CSV exports, outreach campaigns, AI Responder, billing
  • To improve the service: anonymous usage analytics, error tracking, feature usage patterns
  • To prevent abuse: detecting multi-account creation via browser fingerprint, IP, ASN, and email signals (see Section 7)
  • To communicate with you: transactional emails (account, billing), product updates if you opt in

We do NOT: sell your data to third parties, share it with advertisers, use it to train AI models, or transfer it outside the European Union without an adequate data protection mechanism.

4. Where your data lives

All Lead4Linked customer data is stored on infrastructure located in the European Union (Scaleway, OVH). Backups are encrypted at rest. Data in transit is encrypted via TLS 1.3.

Stripe processes payments under their own privacy terms (stripe.com/privacy). Stripe is GDPR-compliant.

5. How long we keep your data

  • Account data: kept while your account is active. Deleted within 30 days of account closure on your request.
  • Billing records: retained 7 years (legal requirement under French commercial code).
  • Usage analytics: aggregated and anonymized after 90 days; raw event data deleted after 12 months.
  • Extracted LinkedIn leads: stored as long as you keep them in your account. You can delete them at any time.

6. Your GDPR rights

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Erase your data ("right to be forgotten")
  • Restrict processing of your data
  • Port your data to another service in machine-readable format (JSON or CSV)
  • Object to certain processing activities
  • Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent
  • Lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority (CNIL in France)

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@leadsforlinked.com. We respond within 30 days.

7. Anti-abuse and account uniqueness

To enforce our one-free-account-per-person policy, we collect and analyze:

  • Browser fingerprint (canvas, fonts, hardware characteristics)
  • IP address and Autonomous System Number (ASN)
  • Email domain signals (disposable email block list)
  • Stripe Radar fraud signals

Accounts identified as multi-account abuse (5+ accounts from the same IP/fingerprint within 24 hours, or matching disposable email patterns) are flagged for review and may be permanently banned. Banned accounts are not refunded.

8. Cookies

We use minimal cookies and local storage:

  • Functional: language preference, dismissed banners
  • Analytics: PostHog session ID (anonymous, EU-hosted)
  • Security: CSRF token, session token (HTTPOnly, Secure)

We do not use advertising cookies, third-party trackers, or remarketing pixels.

9. Children

Lead4Linked is a B2B tool intended for users 18 years and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. Material changes will be communicated by email at least 30 days before they take effect. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision.
