Taplio alternatives compared: the table
Full disclosure, because the table has us in it: we build Leadsforlinked, and we have put ourselves at row two rather than row one, because on this query Taplio is the incumbent and the reader came here for it. Where the other tools beat us, we say so further down.
The order is by how close each tool sits to the job Taplio actually performs, not by any score. There is no rating column here for a reason: ratings in this category are routinely published with no platform, no sample size and no date attached, and we are not adding to that.

All competitor figures fetched from vendor pages on 5 September 2026: taplio.com and taplio.com/blog/taplio-pricing; lempod.com/pricing; kanbox.io/en/pricing; scrupp.com/price; wiza.co/pricing; apollo.io/pricing and apollo.io/insights; skylead.io/pricing. Taplio, Lempod, Scrupp and Skylead all display a bare "$" with no vendor statement of currency, so we reproduce the symbol rather than asserting US dollars. Apollo's monthly list prices did not render on a fetch, so only the annual per-month figure is shown. Competitor pricing changes often. Check the vendor's own page before you buy, and tell us if you spot something out of date.
"Not documented" is not the same as "no". It means the vendor publishes nothing we could fetch on that point, and we are not going to fill the cell with a guess.
Why Leadsforlinked is second on that list
We are not a Taplio competitor and will not pretend to be one. We do not write posts, schedule them, or report on your reach. We do the part Taplio leaves undocumented: turning LinkedIn activity into a list of named people you can open in a spreadsheet.
The price gap is the whole story
Taplio's blog quotes its entry tier at $39 a month, and the tier that unlocks the AI writing most buyers come for at $69 a month, or $49 annually. Leadsforlinked starts at 100 leads free on signup with no card, released in batches of 20, then EUR 4.99 a month on Basic, or EUR 2.99 billed yearly. Credit packs start at EUR 1.99 for 500 leads and never expire. Those are not the same order of magnitude.
One credit equals one lead, and duplicates come back
Most tools in the table meter something more abstract than a lead: actions, engagements, export credits, enrichment credits. We meter one thing. One credit equals one lead, and if the same person turns up twice the duplicate is refunded. It is a smaller promise than most on this page, and it is the one that decides what a list actually costs.
Credits that do not expire, and no Sales Navigator requirement
Apollo states plainly that credits expire at the end of each billing cycle and do not roll over. Lempod does not document expiry at all. Our packs never expire, so a quarter where you do not prospect is a quarter you do not pay for. Sales Navigator is optional with us, which keeps a $119.99 per seat line off the invoice that some tools in this table make mandatory. We run on EU infrastructure, we are GDPR compliant and we are built in France.
What Taplio actually is
Taplio is a web app with an optional browser add-on, described by the vendor as "A free add-on that brings Taplio into LinkedIn: instant stats, your best posts, trending content, and quick saves." Neither the store nor the browser is named. No proxies or dedicated IP addresses are mentioned anywhere, which is what you would expect from a product that publishes rather than one that performs bulk actions.
It does three things. It writes, using what the vendor describes as "AI post writing grounded in a database of 5M+ viral LinkedIn posts". It schedules. And it benchmarks, through the LinkedIn Benchmark, described as "60,000+ LinkedIn posts analyzed each month" and included on every tier.
The honest concession
Here is the part where we lose. If your growth channel is inbound, and you get meetings because people read what you post, Taplio is the right purchase and Leadsforlinked is not a substitute for it in any respect. We do not have a writer, a scheduler, a post analytics view or anything resembling that 60,000 post monthly benchmark, and we are not planning to build them. Taplio also ships something we do not have at all: an MCP integration, described by the vendor as "Run Taplio from Claude, ChatGPT or any MCP enabled LLM". Nothing else in this batch of tools carries one. If you are building an assistant-driven content workflow, that is a real and current advantage and it belongs on the record.
The one place the two products touch is Taplio's outreach feature. The vendor describes it as auto-connect and DMs to warm leads, with the Pro tier adding automated lead outreach. That is a narrow feature bolted onto a content tool, and it is not the same thing as choosing a target audience, sourcing it, and exporting it. Anyone buying Taplio primarily for that feature is paying content prices for a fraction of an outreach product.
Taplio pricing, and the figures we cannot confirm
The sourcing here is genuinely awkward, and most pages that quote Taplio prices do not tell you that.
What is directly confirmed. On 5 September 2026 we fetched taplio.com/pricing twice. Both times it returned its HTML title, "Taplio Pricing - Plans from $39/mo | Free Trial", plus FAQ text, and no tier table at all. The page is JavaScript rendered, so a fetch sees nothing. That title is the only price signal that comes from the pricing page itself, and it corroborates a $39 entry point and nothing beyond it.
What is vendor copy, but not from the pricing page. Everything below comes from taplio.com/blog/taplio-pricing: Taplio-owned, so a primary source, but a blog rather than a live pricing table, and blog posts go stale.
| Tier | Monthly | Annual, per month | Stated annual total | What the tier adds |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $39/mo | $32/mo | $384/year | Scheduling and core analytics. No AI writing |
| Growth | $69/mo | $49/mo | $588/year | AI post writing, reply and comment tools |
| Pro | $199/mo | $149/mo | Not published | Unlimited AI posts and comments, automated lead outreach |
Source: taplio.com/blog/taplio-pricing, fetched 2026-09-05. The annual discount is stated as 25 percent. All tiers include the trial, the 30-day money-back guarantee and the LinkedIn Benchmark, with "no setup fees, no forced annual contract".
Two deliberate omissions, and both are the point of this section.
We do not compute a Pro annual total. The obvious move is $149 times 12, giving $1,788, and you will find that figure on comparison pages. Taplio does not publish it. Starter and Growth both carry a stated annual total in the vendor's own copy and Pro does not, so multiplying is an assumption about how the vendor bills, not a fact about the price.
We do not describe the seat model. Taplio's blog says pricing is "per user account, not per seat", which says nothing about attaching more than one LinkedIn account or adding team members below Growth. The vendor resolves it nowhere we could fetch. If you are buying for a team, put that question to Taplio in writing before you pay.
The one piece of arithmetic worth doing
On Growth, the tier most people actually want, paying monthly costs $69 times 12, which is $828 a year, against the $588 annual total Taplio's own blog states. The annual term therefore saves $240 on that tier, matching the 25 percent the vendor advertises, and it is the single largest lever on a Taplio invoice. Nothing else moves the number that much: for a full year of use, monthly billing costs you a whole Starter subscription in pure overhead.
A record we are correcting
This category launders numbers at speed, and the honest thing to do when you find one of your own is to publish the correction rather than quietly delete the note.
Our internal teardown of the results for taplio vs waalaxy recorded that the only exact-match page on the query was a competitor promotion carrying the wrong Waalaxy price, roughly $43 against Waalaxy's real EUR 19. In the form it circulates, that claim points at Taplio.
We went and read the page. Taplio's own comparison post, taplio.com/blog/best-linkedin-automation-tools, is dated 6 June 2024. It names Waalaxy. It carries no Waalaxy price at all and no ratings for any tool. The only price on it is Taplio's own $39 a month. The $43 figure does exist in this category, but on a different vendor's page, not on taplio.com.
So: do not repeat the claim that Taplio published an incorrect Waalaxy price, because it did not. The wider lesson is why this section exists. That chain was short and it still broke, from a note written off a search result and pointed at the wrong company. Longer chains break worse. The most repeated statistic in this market has no primary source under it at all.
Which alternative fits which job
Stay on Taplio if posting is your channel. If you already get inbound from what you publish, the AI writer and the benchmark are the product, and no extractor below replaces them. Taplio's real competitors are the other dedicated LinkedIn content and scheduling tools. We have deliberately put no numbers next to those, because we have not verified their pricing from vendor sources and we do not publish prices we have not checked.
Look at Lempod only if you understand what an engagement pod is. Members of a pod like and comment on each other's posts, and Lempod's copy describes joining engagement groups and choosing AI-generated comments that people leave on your posts. Entry is $9.99 a month excluding tax, with no free tier or trial wording anywhere on the site as of 5 September 2026. One buyer fact almost nobody publishes: Lempod's own support docs tell you to download a zip, turn on developer mode and drag the folder into the Chrome extensions page. That is a manual sideload, not a Chrome Web Store install, and the docs give no reason and no date for it.
Choose Kanbox if you want extraction and outreach in one tool at EUR 25 a month, or EUR 15 annually. Its pricing FAQ states flatly that all features work without a Sales Navigator subscription, and its scraper page advertises a cleaned CSV download. It publishes no dated changelog anywhere, so it is hard to tell how recently anything moved.
Choose Scrupp if you want cheap extraction and already hold a Sales Navigator seat. Free gives 100 credits a month with no card, Starter is $29 for 1,000. Its own site contradicts itself on architecture: the pricing page says all scraping runs in the cloud, the homepage says it runs as a Chrome extension in your own logged-in session. We record both and resolve neither.
Choose Wiza or Apollo if the missing piece is contact details rather than the list. Wiza's free plan gives 20 valid emails and 5 phone numbers. Apollo's gives 900 credits a year, which is 75 a month, and Apollo states it never charges more than one credit per contact, with a verified phone costing the same as an email. That is unusually good value in a category where a phone often costs ten times an email. The catch is expiry: Apollo credits do not roll over.
Choose Leadsforlinked if the job is a list. Take the 100 free leads, no card, and open the file. Count the rows you would genuinely contact. That number tells you more about whether a tool fits than any comparison table, including this one. Beyond the free tier: packs from EUR 1.99 for 500 leads that never expire, Basic at EUR 4.99 a month or EUR 2.99 billed yearly, Starter at EUR 29 which adds campaigns, Diamond Pro at EUR 79 which adds the AI Responder, and Diamond Plus at EUR 149.
Frequently asked questions
Is Taplio a LinkedIn scraper?
No. Taplio's homepage, fetched on 5 September 2026, describes it as an AI coach for LinkedIn growth, and what it sells is post writing, scheduling, analytics and engagement tooling. There is one outreach feature, described by the vendor as auto-connect and send DMs to warm leads, and the Pro tier is described as adding automated lead outreach. None of that is bulk extraction of profiles into a file, and no export is documented on any Taplio page we could fetch.
Does Taplio have a free plan?
No. Taplio offers a 7-day free trial that the vendor describes as full Pro access, all features, unlimited credits, and advanced engagement tools, plus a 30-day money-back guarantee that covers forgetting to cancel. Whether a card is required to start the trial is not stated on the pricing page we fetched on 5 September 2026.
Can you export leads from Taplio to a CSV?
Not that Taplio documents. We found no export feature, no field list, no row cap and no statement about what happens to your data after cancellation on any Taplio page fetched on 5 September 2026. We record that as undocumented rather than as a no, because absence of documentation is not the same as absence of a feature. If a spreadsheet is your deliverable, ask Taplio directly before you buy.
How much does Taplio cost per year?
Taplio's own blog states Starter at 39 dollars a month or 32 dollars a month billed annually, which the same page gives as 384 dollars a year, and Growth at 69 dollars a month or 49 dollars a month annually, given as 588 dollars a year. Pro is stated at 199 dollars a month or 149 dollars a month annually, but the vendor publishes no annual total for Pro, so we do not compute one. The pricing page itself renders nothing to a fetch, so treat every figure here as vendor blog copy rather than a confirmed pricing table.
What is the cheapest Taplio alternative if I only want leads in a spreadsheet?
Then you do not want a content tool at all, and the price gap is large. Leadsforlinked gives 100 leads free on signup with no card, released in batches of 20, then credit packs from 1.99 euros for 500 leads that never expire, or a Basic subscription at 4.99 euros a month, or 2.99 euros a month billed yearly. One credit equals one lead and duplicates are refunded. Sales Navigator is optional.
